Pastor Dave has experienced firsthand the fixing power of God. As a kid, Dave grew up in a somewhat broken home. Additionally, his hyperactivity lead to the breaking of some household items. As preschool came and went, he continued a life of hyperactivity and Ritalin dependence. At age 9 he realized the need for a savior and started his walk with God, he was baptized in water. He made a real effort to live out his faith in high school. In high school, he had a powerful experience with the Holy Spirit where his calling into a life of ministry began to take shape. He continued to grow deeper in the grace of God. As his path lead on, he graduated from Central Bible College in 1998. Pastor Dave is a licensed minister and has worked in Children's ministry for about 10 years. Now, with a life that has been powerfully fixed by the power of God, Pastor Dave enjoys seeing God do cool things in the lives of kids. Dave is married to Heather and they have a son named Micah. He has formerly worked in fast food and construction. He also spent some time as a CNA and a Radio DJ/Station Manager.
For fun Dave likes to play games, play with "techy" things, and he also likes to participate in the occasional sumo wrestling match.
Dee was raised in a small town in Pennsylvania. She moved to California for college where she studied psychology/counseling and earned a Master's degree in Counseling. She also met her husband while she was in college. She has two daughters Laura and Lisa who "light up her life."
Prior to serving at Radiant Dee was ordained as a pastor and served alongside her husband. She also developed women's programs while her husband served as a Chaplain in the United States Army. She had been married 25 years when her husband suffered a brain aneuryism and a stroke. Due to the brain damage that he suffered he was no longer himself. He made the decision to move to Oklahoma without Dee and their children. Together Dee and her girls have "moved on with the help and grace of the Lord."
She now works as a full time Manager at a community mental health center in Anderson, IN. There she supervises staff who counsel clients with serious mental illnesses such as Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, and Major Depression. Dee serves as Radiant's part time pastoral counselor she "loves helping people discover who God intended them to be."
In her leisure time Dee loves to go camping and fishing "even if she doesn't catch any."
Favorite Book:"Boundaries" by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend.
Greg began taking piano lessons in second grade. As a child he described himself as "a poor student with low self
esteem" until his music teacher discovered his love for music
and asked him to play piano in class. That day became a major turning point in his life and he eventually learned that God had a plan for his life, and music
would be a big part of that plan.
Greg played professionally in bands
and combos throughout high school and college (Indiana University) and formed a
"Christian Rock " band called "Good Seed" in 1972. "Good Seed" toured the country for
nearly 8 years and in 1981, Greg returned to school at The Way College of Biblical
Research and received an Associate Degree in Theology. He joined the staff at The
Way International headquarters in New Knoxville, Ohio, in 1983 as a regular cast
member of the TV show, "High Country Caravan". The show ran until 1988 when he
returned to Indianapolis. After that Greg played with "The Wright Brothers", a family oriented
variety show, and attended Northview Christian Life where he later became the
assistant music pastor under Pastor John Cernero. He remained at Northview a year
after the "planting" of Radiant Christian Life but then rejoined his work with Pastor
John in 2002. He is married to Kathy and together they have six children and two
grandchildren.
Kathy grew up in Avon, IN with 3 brothers. She gave her heart to Christ at the age of 9. She felt the call into full time ministry as a teenager. She attended Zion Bible College and studied ministry. She met John at Zion and the two were married in 1978. Together they have raised 4 boys and have served at 6 different churches over the last 28 years. Kathy has overseen the Women's ministry since the inception of Radiant. She also is in charge of the "Get Acquainted Gatherings" and "New Members' Dinner." Prior to full time ministry Kathy worked as a preschool teacher, school bus driver, and secretary.
For fun Kathy enjoys reading, watching movies, going to the beach, spending time with family, having lunch with her brother, and hanging out with her girlfriends.
